SWH is an iconic Los Angeles-based architecture firm. Their high-end homes are classic and luxurious, yet warm and understated. Creating their new identity and website entailed working with their team to help them define their unique values, and the kind of experience their audience would have with their brand. The new identity and website work as a cohesive system, communicating the firm’s personality, values, and aesthetic vision.
With architecture as our main concept, we created a logo that draws attention to the architectural and classical shapes of the letters. A monochrome palette combines matte and reflective textures, creating a brand that is both refined and unpretentious.
In order to bring the feeling of understated luxury to screens, we designed a website that presents the studio and its work on a clean, easy to navigate, luxuriously black canvas. Using unobtrusive buttons and collapsible navigation, we were able to build all features without distracting from the full-screen project images. A WP backend enables the client to quickly update their site with new content as soon as new projects are completed.
