Hyundai Azera Microsite
Winner of a 2013 OC Addy Gold Award, a 2013 SXSW Interactive Award, and a 2012 Communication Arts Webpick of the day.
Working with Innocean Worldwide, and partnering with our dear friends at Royale, we created the interactive online experience for the new Hyundai Azera. Royale came to us with a design and a radical vision of a fully interactive CG journey in HTML5, and we leapt at the challenge.
The website puts the user in the driver seat, fluidly navigating through beautiful landscapes and perspective changes of the vehicle. We achieved this by extracting thousands of stills from Royale’s video, and tying each image sequentially to the browser’s scroll bar. Additional hotspots throughout the journey allow the user to watch videos, and interact with information about the car.
